       The first reason that the Thea sisters’ adventures are better than Geronimo Stilton’s is they solve mysteries. I mean a LOT of mysteries, and they always have each other and other friends for help. Plus, they each have a special talent.  This shows that the Thea sisters solve mysteries.

     The second reason that the Thea sisters’ adventures are better than Geronimo Stilton’s  is they all have different styles. They all like, care and want to be different things. But there’s one thing that they all love… Adventure!  This proves that they all have different styles.

     The third reason that the thea sisters’ adventures are better than the Geronimo Stilton’s is the thea sisters are problem solvers. They can solve any problem or mystery. In every of their books they solve a problem or mystery. Doesn’t this make you think that they can solve ANY problem.  

     Today I showed 3 reasons that the Thea sisters adventures are better than Geronimo Stilton’s. Hopefully all of my proof proved to you that  the Thea sisters adventures are better than Geronimo Stilton’s. Because I think that the Thea sisters adventures are better than Geronimo Stilton’s because the Thea sisters solve mysteries, they all have different styles, and they’re problem solvers. I hope you now think so too.

     WEIRD but TRUE dogs can tell if a human is  going to have a health issue, and will alert them. Come with me and explore why dogs are awesome pets and you should adopt one today!  Dogs are awesome pets because they are a loyal friend, a great guard dog, and a lot of dogs help! So if trying to get a pet why not consider a dog.

     The first reason that dogs are awesome pets is because they’re a loyal friend. If you fall down and get hurt your dog will come and snuggle up against you. If your sad your dog will notice and come running over. If you have fear of talking to a strangers and your taking a walk with your dog that fear totally goes away. When friends or family are not around your dog will keep you company. This shows that dogs are incredibly loyal friends. 

     The second reason that dogs are awesome pets is because they are great guards. They will bark at anyone who comes through the door. For example, if you’re sleeping and somebody walks in your house your dog will be on full alert.  Dog’s ears are always open even when they’re sleeping. One more reason why dogs are great guards is because their nose are 40 times better than ours. This shows that dogs are great guards.

     The third reason that dogs are awesome pets is that a lot of dogs help people. For instance, some dogs are actually trained to help the blind or deaf. Also, some dogs help police sniff out drugs, bombs or people. Another reason that dogs are super helpful is some dogs even save people! This proves that dogs are really helpful. 

     Today I talked about three reasons why dogs are awesome pets. They were… dogs are loyal friends,  great guards, and very very helpful. In other words dogs are awesome pets. So take action now and go adopt a dog!

It all started when I opened my second grade classroom door… I saw a pile of party stuff. Streamers and balloons lined the ceiling. It felt like a surprise and I like a good Halloween surprise! Before I could figger out what it was it was time to head to the first retirement home. Ms. Jenkins announced, “Time to find your groups!”

      I was in a group with Keegan, Taylor, Keegan’s mom and Ms. Jenkins. There was a lot of laughter from the back seat from Keegan. I was really nervous! Keegan kept saying, “Are we there yet?” I loved the idea of seeing the inside of a retirement home. 

     We were going to two retirement homes. The first one we stayed outside. There were four people with baskets filled with bags of candy! We formed a line and one by one we said, “Trick or treat!” and grabbed a bag from each basket. Then said, “Thank you!” and rode to the second one.

     When we reached the second one we went inside. There was about 15 tables in the room, and at every table there were 1 to 2 people. We wandered around the room saying, “Trick or treat!” Before leaving Ms. Jenkins said, “See you at school!”

     Finally, when everybody arrived at school we started the party, there were a ton of games, prizes and laughter, but my favorite part was the tick-tac-toe. I said, “Thank you!” to Ms. Jenkins.

 It was Valentine’s Day and I was on vacation with my family in Mexico. All of my mom’s family was there. Everyday I said, “This is the best day of my life!“

It had been 2 days since we had landed in Mexico. When we had landed I had said, “I am so glad to be off that plane!” When we got out of the airport people with signs saying ( a ton of )  names. We found a person with a sine saying, RIDES! RIDES!

 Valentine’s Day came I ran to get Mom’s present. But I forgot which suitcase it was in. I called “Dad which suitcase is it in!” He called back, “What is in which suitcase?” So I came into the room he was in and whispered “Mom’s present.” he said the green one. I yelled, “Thank you!” The green suitcase was in a little brown closet. Than ran to the green suitcase. I had got Mom a huge Heart-Shaped Box filled with little chocolate heart-shaped candies.   Then Mom called to me, “Eleanor what are you doing? “  I called back, “I’m getting your Valentine’s present. She called, “What!” I rolled my eyes.

 Mom was on the balcony of the hotel room. The balcony looked over the pool. We sometimes ate on the balcony.  Came out holding the huge wrapped heart. I said, ” Here you go mom!” She said, ” Oh Eleanor you shouldn’t have!” I joked, “I shouldn’t have what?”

   It turned out that I had gotten mom the biggest present ever. Mom loved her present and I loved her! Later that day there was a big valentines parade! It was really fun! I hugged her and said, “I love  you mom!” Then I ran and jumped into the pool.

It was a sunny spring afternoon. I was biking around in my driveway.  I suddenly saw I had to make a sharp turn.  I called, “Mom watch me turn!” Mom turned to see me.

I did turn but… I fell over the handlebars. My chin landed on a sharp rock. My chin felt really weird. I got up to my knees. I saw a big ball of red. My mom rushed to my side and helped me up. Mom asked, “ Eleanor are you okay?” I replied, “no.” When she noticed the ball of red she asked, “Does anything feel weird?” I said, “My chin.” She looked at my chin…  She totally freaked out. She saw…

That my CHIN was BROKEN OPEN!!! I was crying hard. I was very scared when I found out that I had broke my chin open! My dad put a Band-Aid on my chin to keep it from dripping blood.  He said, “We’ll take it off when we get to Grampa’s.

So we got into the car and drove to my grandpa’s house. He is a doctor. I had to stand on my head on the couch. My grandma turned on a show. My sister watched the show. I did too… upside down. It was NOT fun! Grandpa said “Don’t pick at it for 2 weeks.”

While I was upside down my grandpa …glued my chin shut. After Grandpa glued my chin  shut …  I got to watch the rest of the show right side up. We said, “Thank you.” Then headed home. I got to sleep in my mom’s and dad’s bed for the night.
